RAK TAMACHAT CILANTRO

Big yummy cilantro. Obviously selected for fresh use rather than seed production. Collected by Adaptive Seeds at the Rak Tamachat Permaculture and Natural Building Education Center in Thailand.

Plants are huge! Leaves are more than twice the size of our Lemon Coriander. Flavor is excellent. Add by the handfuls into salads and burritos. Crunchy texture is fabulous. Adaptive Seeds says that it's “cilantro as a vegetable", and it totally is. Who needs lettuce. The roots are likewise substantial and delicious and perfect for authentic Thai curry pastes.

Plants hold for longer in hot weather than most common varieties, but succession sowing is recommended, as is some dappled shade and ample water in the heat of summer.

Packet contains at least 100 seeds.
