LEMON CORIANDER SEEDS

Coriandrum sativum

ORGANIC

This short-statured citrus-scented cilantro is grown primarily for the uniquely delicious seeds. Larger seeds than most common varieties. Common to Indian and Persian cuisines. Freshly ground seeds are powerfully fragrant with a bright lemony flavor that is superior to the coriander typically found in the US. Requisite for superior hummus. Diminutive foliage is very fragrant and delicious but does not hold for long; these plants were selected to bolt quickly and produce lots of yummy seeds.

Multiple harvests may be had in a single short season. Will cross readily with other strains of cilantro so stagger sowings carefully or keep leaf cilantro trimmed of bolting stems until Lemon Coriander is done fruiting.

Sow seeds directly into the garden in spring through summer. Germination may take up to three weeks in cool soil.

Packet contains at least 100 seeds.
