THAI GRAPE TOMATO SEEDS
Solanum lycopersicum
This is a really good grape tomato that produces very well in less than ideal conditions. Very good flavor in the heat of summer and in the cool of autumn. Holds on and off the plant for weeks. Perfect for tidy Thai tomato salads with lots of lime and cilantro and fish sauce, but mostly these little tomatoes get fisted like nuts in the garden and pilfered from the pile on the counter that is “waiting to be seeded" but for the most part just gets eaten.
Start these seeds indoors around 6-8 weeks before the last spring frost. Tuck seeds just below the surface of moist soil, pressing to keep seed snug. Cover with plastic to maintain moisture and temperature. Kept warm and moist in bright light seeds should germinate within a week. Once seedlings have true leaves prick out to grow on in individual pots or cells in bright light at warm room temperature. Harden off before transplanting into the garden in full sun after all danger of frost has passed.
Super adaptable indeterminate plants. Tolerant of all kinds of abuse and neglect. Split-resistant and drought-tolerant.
Grown by Farmacie Isolde.
Packet contains at least 20 seeds.
