RUCOLA SELVATICA A FOGLIA D'ULVIO

Diplotaxis integrifolia

Wild olive leaf arugula from Italy. Both flavor and appearance are more subtle than common Rucola Selvatica. Mounds of peppery leaves can be harvested by the handful and tossed into pastas, frittatas and salads. Makes a good pesto in the winter months. Self-sows generously in most gardens. Ideal for permaculture.

Sow outdoors in early spring or autumn. Much slower growing than common cultivated arugula (Eruca sativa). Ready to harvest in around 50 days. Prefers to grow in cooler weather. May be sown into flats in bright shade in the heat of summer, or under lights in a cold barn all winter. Water frequently.

Packet contains around 3000 seeds.
