An old Belgian landrace that produces sweet green sprouts. Sprouts are somewhat variable in size and shape, with some sprouts refusing to head and looking very much like the patented “kalette". All sprouts are delicious, especially after several autumn frosts, and the plants are very adaptable and reliable.

In mild winters these plants produce continually over a long season. In the Northeast we transplant in June and have sprouts in time for Thanksgiving.

Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting into well-amended fertile soil in full sun in late spring. Mulch generously to maintain moisture and water frequently.

Packet contains at least 100 seeds.
