Stunning golden green leaves are dramatically dissected and hyperfrilly. Flavor is sweet and aromatic with a bright mustardy bite. Texture is juicy and crunchy. Makes a fantastic salad alone or in combination with other greens, to which these leaves lend considerable loft. Also delicious gently steamed, stir-fried, or tossed into brothy soups. The most versatile mustard greens we have grown.

There may be some juncea ssp. napiformis in Golden Frills lineage, as mature plants sometimes produce a crisp edible root! Eat these as you would a turnip.

Easy to grow indoors under lights or outdoors in a greenhouse through the winter for nutritious baby greens. Tolerates summer heat with aplomb. One of the brightest stars of modern breeding. Perfect for gardeners who think that they don't like mustard greens.
