Stunning golden green leaves are dramatically dissected and hyperfrilly. Flavor is sweet and aromatic with a bright mustardy bite. Texture is juicy and crunchy. Makes a fantastic salad alone or in combination with other greens, to which these leaves lend considerable loft. Also delicious gently steamed, stir-fried, or tossed into brothy soups.

There may be some juncea ssp. napiformis in Golden Frills lineage, as mature plants sometimes produce a crisp edible root!

Easy to grow indoors under lights, or outdoors in a greenhouse through the winter. Tolerates summer heat with aplomb. One of the brightest stars of modern breeding. Perfect for gardeners who think that they don't like mustard greens.
