Huge 12”-15”flowers on 8’-12' tall stalks. Large 1” elongated seeds are delicious freshly shelled or roasted and salted. Sow where they are to grow in spring. Ready to harvest in about 90 days. Extraordinarily ornamental. Exceptionally productive. Our favorite sunflower for eating.

These plants may need to be staked in especially windy gardens with loose soil, but they have proven extremely sturdy in ours. Sow pole beans or morning glories beneath these plants when they are around 3’ high.
